This postoperative inguinal hernia underwear is underwear indicated for the use after surgery of a groin hernia. It provides a local light anatomical tension (not compression) in the recovery period combined with optional inguinal hernia pads. Made of the most exclusive Makò-cotton, known by experts for its quality, softness and long lifespan. Low profile model.

• How long to wear : this undergarment is best worn daytime only, but as long as necessary (until the hernia is compeltely cured)

Contra-indications

• Heating and sweating: we recommend to wear a 100% Mako coton protection brief underneath. The Mako coton ensures that transpiration is well absorbed, also during summer. Moreover, washing of the briefs is easier (will stay clean much longer)
• Local skin conditions: f.e. hypersensitive skin : due to post-operative scars, painful scars, edema, stomas (where a higher pressure on or around the pocket could be uncomfortable)
